The Problem

One of our Agri based partners needed to streamline financial decisions on entire business. Their team was working out of SMS, IM, Email and Excel spreadsheets, so data was spread in different forms, often misinterpreted, and consistently outdated. The business unknowingly continued to make wrong decisions without understanding the correct picture.

Our team worked to understand the reason of using multiple modes of communication from various centres. When working closely with stakeholders across the different centres, we could create a small application that was standardise, user friendly and compiled their data in a understandable manner, replacing SMS, IM and Email and created monthly report in every location across the country. ELIMINATION OF INTER-DEPARTMENT FRICTION COMPLETELY

The Problem

A very unique case where different departments formed themselves to a different groups and each one blaming the other department for all the issues. They were completely disconnected especially when it come’s to ownership of work and status. Supervisors were supervising the daily tasks through a Notebook, which was inefficient leading to productivity loss.

The Solution

We initially tried to understand the real problems and decided to built a platform that will allow Supervisors to delegate work through proper communication capable of tracking the progress in real time for employees. We were surprised to see the result, the task management platform has dramatically improved employee productivity across the department. Considering the results at the lower level the same platform has been sophisticated and rolled out to the wider hierarchy, with majority of employees engaging in it. It is providing a much better quality experiences for the whole steam of departments.

REAL TIME REPORT SUBMISSION TRACKING

The Problem

One of our client a leading KPO in the electronics industry came to us with the challenges faced by them in terms of tracking the reports submission and appraisal system for the efficiency of the employees. The problem was that reports were submitted on time and some time with delays. The team were unable to trace the correct cycle and efficiencies were challenged. It also reduced the motivation among the team members creating differences among the subordinates. Needless to say, the inefficient system was wasting huge amounts of time.

The Solution

We understood their reporting cycle for each individual department. Later we plotted all the individual reports in a tabular form. We could understand the granularity of the problem and could simply create a tracking application which was linked to the Email and standardise signed sheet with list of deliverables agreed between both the Manager and the employee. Now month-on-month all the reports are traced which are mutually acceptable, simultaneously providing with a Monthly, Quarterly and Annual graph to indicate the efficiency thus making the appraisal acceptable.

CORRECTED STOCK THROUGH PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION

The Problem

A major Milk products processor came to us to assist with their operational accounting processes issues that were severely impacting their efficiency and bottom line. The stock records were wrong due to multiple packets of similar looks with varying quantities and flavours were recorded as same and vice versa. The company was losing its goodwill before the customer due to mis-labelling with inefficient processes in place.

The Solution

When drilling down the issue we understood that it is much more complex then it seems on the face. Apart from Software related solution there has to be much more with colour coding, Bar code system to be devised to resolve the problem. Accordingly our team took support from our operating and finance team to design colour coding and Bar code system for them. Later a simple machine learning application was designed to trace the similar looking cartons into various quantities and flavours thereby automatically managing the stocks, sales accounting and invoicing. This technology helps employees identify products more accurately which in turn reduces significant product inventory loss. Customer recognised us agreeing that they have started regaining their lost goodwill.

MOBILE APP FULLY SYNCHRONISED WITH ACCOUNTING SYSTEM

The Challenge

A reputed large chain of Restaurant had problem managing their stock, cash, bank and invoicing. Some bills relating to cards payment were billed in cash and cash payments linked to cards payment mode. Stock purchased were duplicated without adequate control and giving wrong profitability. Apart from this bank charges were not traced to individual transaction and hence they could not decide the course of action. Even online orders on telephone created all confusion.

The Solution

Our team studied the various processes and understood the challenges at varying level of purchase to transfer and then from kitchen to the billing system. All it needed was an application with a standardise tool that could effectively monitor the inward to the ratio of the output and monitor the cash and bank transaction in respective places identifying bank charges to the individual bank transactions. With our system synchronised mobile application the problem was solved increasing productivity and giving correct accounting. Now the stocks are better controlled and monetary transactions recorded properly.

ELIMINATED MANUAL INTERVENTION BETWEEN PRODUCTION AND ACCOUNTING

The Challenge

One of the Steel roofing's managing their production inventory on manual job cards was facing issues in stock reconciliation. They had several varieties of coils varying in colour, thickness, width, length and weight of each coils. A production data card was maintained against each coil separately numbered. It was manual involving all the risk of human error.

The Solution

To solve this challenge, we firstly built a stock production system to see if the same can resolve the stock issue. When we saw that the system was successful over a period of 6 weeks we went ahead to build another application linking the stock production register to the accounting software thereby eliminating the manual intervention between production site data and the accounting office. Currently the company only runs the risk from the correct entry through the factory input challenges.
